| Caporali boasts a wealth of experience in wrought iron working, a treasure trove of age-old traditions, skills and techniques that it continues to top up even today. Founded in 1885 by Lorenzo Caporali, the business is the epitome of quality Italian craft traditions, demonstrating the ability to infuse this material with an unprecedented quality: lightness. Caporali is renowned throughout Italy and beyond for its “blown iron”. An ongoing dialogue between innovation and tradition unfolds in the skilful hands of the Master Craftsmen, as they create furnishing accessories with unmistakeable features. This uniquely elegant style is shaped into exclusive creations crafted in line with the sophisticated tastes of an increasingly demanding clientele. With a focus on the future and on experimentation, Caporali entrusts classic lines to an original interpretation of design, where contours, volumes and nuances generate magically alluring, instantly seductive patterns. |
This is the latest step on a long experiential journey through the world of iron. It is a story based on ceaseless research and experimentation, with the aim of bringing wrought iron craft traditions up to date in order to appeal to the increasingly sophisticated tastes of a continually evolving society. Development, innovation and the desire to explore contemporary artistic techniques: these are our values, this is our vocation. Over a century of experience in wrought iron working is today channelled into the Italian Iron Lab project: our in-house design and production workshop, coordinated by Daniele Caporali. Italian Iron Lab is a place where ideas are forged, where the accent is on combining traditional skills with innovative design. The doors of the Iron Lab are open to young designers, who will fi nd fertile terrain for studying and creating new lines as well as the chance to learn about new metal trends in the furnishing world. |
